POWER OUTAGE SUNDAY 25th Feb
Due to power outage in Melksham, we’re unable to catch up with today’s Sunday service and have had to cancel today’s meals. We can’t offer drinks as our till systems and pumps for the beer are shut down without power. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience caused and hope you will come back and see us again soon. Any deposits paid will be refunded via the means of payment. We look forward to getting our & your power back asap.

For March we are fully back to our usual twice-monthly Sunday Lunch music slots, with Nikki and Tommy Sutton performing on the 3rd and 17th, and Ruth Hammond on the 31st! A long month of music for you to enjoy.
We also have Life O’Reilly performing on the Saturday before St Patrick’s Day, to help you really get in the mood and enjoy the special menu!

Valentine’s Night Special Event

For December we have a light change of our music events.
Nikki & Tommy Sutton will be performing on Sunday 10th December with their usual mix of contemporary tunes and jazz.
Then on Friday 15th we have Life O’Reilly performing from 7pm to 930pm with traditional Irish tunes.

A note to our patrons
We had a message today to inform us that we have been put forwards by a member of the public to be part of the local constituency Small Business of the Year Award.
To whoever initially put us forwards – the whole team at The Market Tavern thanks you!
Now we are at the point where the main voting starts – votes can be made between now and 9am, 1st December, so just over a week. Our MP Michelle Donelan will announce the winner on the following day.

We would like to thank all of you who came along to the Market Tavern on Remembrance Day and took advantage of our Charity Breakfast. We don’t know the amount raised yet as the Royal British Legion have to come and collect their boxes and then let us know so will keep you informed.
We would also like to thank Ruby Darbyshire for adding to the atmosphere with her Bagpipes once again, and then once more as our lunch service started by singing for us before Nikky and Tommy Sutton took over.
